Here's a photo of a Peugeot with the Racers Paradise link on the side.

Had to upload it as an attachment as I'm having problems with my image server site.

I agree, nice one. :)

I noticed you've got a lot of text on there though, my problem with getting text on my cars is that it takes me forever to line it up the exact same size and on the same x coordinate. I feel like it would be a lot easier if you could just type the text in and it comes out as all 1 layer if you get what I'm saying?

Do they have anything in Forza 3 that makes it easier to do text on liveries or is it something I'll just have to deal with?

I found an easier way halfway through the paradise bit!

Presumably you're using the graph paper, can't remember what the option is called, something like "Create Vinyl" at a guess. After positioning the first letter, copy it and then paste, in the menu there is an option to change shape, that allows you to change the letter but keep the size the same, then its just a matter of using the D-pad to move it horizontally to the position you need.

Its a shame they didn't have the sense to put in an option like one of the Need For Speed games had, you picked a font and it let you type your text then move it as a block!

I think it's only a matter of time before we see a Vinyl Editor that doesn't need a degree in car design.

Maybe with the next CG release we might be blessed :)

Very nicely done Rusty! :D

The way I get the letters all straight when I'm using the vinyl editor is I always start by putting a line beneath the place I want to put the text and line up the bottom of each letter with the line. Once I have done this I remove the line and its nice and straight :D

I do agree that there should be a simpler vinyl tool as even though I'm an artist even I have a very hard time making my ideas a reality, so to speak...

As the Forza 3 forum I was a member of has died on its arse I'm going to rebadge all my cars with racersparadise.co.uk instead of the other link!

Couldn''t see the point of advertising a site that has members joining but an owner who can't be bothered to post, or anything else come to that.

Hopefully by racing online with this site on my cars we might get some more members here ;)
