In was in a Burnout Paradise game online last night with a bunch of Americans (you were playing it when I grabbed the disc, but you'd gone back to the dashboard by the time it had loaded ) One of them said Criterion were rubbish as a games producer, none of their previous games were that good, and its a shame they made Burnout Paradise because the company that did the first Burnout games was much better. Now I'm confused, because I'm fairly certain Criterion made all the Burnout games and I don't remember any of them being as good as Paradise! He also said he hopes Criterion don't make the new NFS game because they'll ruin that as well

Yeah the past couple of nights I've been on doing some ranked racing, never really bother with freeburn and had enough of shooting( for the moment ). Yeah I think that guy was just on a backwards trip and getting things mixed up lol. I have to say that there has been some Di*k heads on the past couple of nights, not forgetting those double gamer tag guys. Yeah like you have 400 achievement points from the game and your telling me you can just jump onto a ranked race and shoot right upto 37 in the world? My fecking arse!!! that's what i say to that.
Bp is quite clearly the racing/driven/arcade game to date. I've yet to see anything come close to before it and after it was released.
For sure they could still release DLC for this game and sell. Even with dick's creating double gamer tags there still seems to be a lot of new peeps coming to the game.

He was most probably thinking about the time when Criterion were owned by Acclaim, but while Burnout 3: Takedown was in development Acclaim went bust and Criterion were bought by EA. That guy was talking through his butt cheeks as I have played all of Criterion's games including the excellent Black and I agree Paradise is definitely the best Burnout to date! I would even go so far to say that BP is up there with the finest games I have ever played! Also, its being out for over 2 years now and there still seems to be fresh gamers on there Also, what are double accounts? And how are these people going straight to Rank 37? If they are cheating they should get banned!

I had the first three Burnout games on PS2, when I got the Xbox 360 I bought Burnout Takedown because I expected it to be better than the PS2 version, what a disappointment it was excactly the same!
Paradise is the best online arcade driving game ever, its not just a racing game!
I've done hardly any races but I'm addicted to challenges, except the "jump through the red hoop in the airfield" or "barrel roll through the grey hoop" ones - I hate them!

I didn't play any other burnout before BP. Didn't have a ps. I did all my gaming on PC and it was only every the NFS title that i played them and Sim city 4. NFS hot pursuit was great! Porsche 2000 and Most wanted only just passed! the others I don't even speak of. I really do hope CG don't F*ck it up. Though going with previous recent NFS titles I cant see how because BP blow them well out the water!. So as long as it's along the same lines as Bp and open world and no problems dropping frames and and and and.... I think we will all be happy
