Yesterday i bought this game for the sake of it. I have to say first impressions the game does look very good but so far that is where it ends. I've still to try the online mode. Maybe this is where the game comes to life?

Needless to say it didn't and got returned for a full refund the next day!

It's just tempting because it looks like it should be totally amazing. I keep wanting to buy it, it takes a lot of self control to remember all the bad reports about it, lol.

I bought it and I totally agree with you Glasgow. I played a demo of it (on my PC) and it seemed very good, but when I started playing it I started to get more and more annoyed with it In my own opinion the AI is way too easy for the first to levels of difficulty and the spikes up on the final level. Also, I can't believe I'm saying this but the map is way too big, and with just 16 players online at a time It should at least support 2x or even 4x that amount of online players at a time! Plus the bikes handle like a greasy weasel and the cars and trucks don't all go off-road and act like the clutch is slipping in and out! Sorry for ranting on there but I really want to warn fellow gamers about this game.

Rant on, the game is crap, I only kept it for a week because everyone said online would improve it!
Why they put that "satnav" in is beyond me, I remember it told me to go right, then as soon as I'd gone right it told me to turn around and go left from the road I was on.
What finally did it for me was driving into a river, by accident, and then being respawned above the river, there was no way I could get out, the only option was quit the race. That was the last time I played the game, the disc came out, went straight in the box and was jiffy-bagged up ready for return.

Yeah there is just some games you can't bring yourself to play even if only to get the achievements ans this game is one of them!
